A: 1. It all started with my curiosity about several electric basses, from several brands that I had played when I was still a bass player in 2000 - 2014, I had not found a bass that suited my wishes, in 2012 I started making basses for me to play, and asked my luthier friends in Indonesia, at that time I had 6 first basses, out of the 6 only 2 succeeded in accordance with my wishes, such as neck thickness, playability, and sound character, in 2013 I started building basses seriously to sell to bass player friends that I knew, and they liked them.
-
A: We started building instruments in 2012
-
I have exotic wood from Indonesia, and I also do finishing with various colors that are in my mind, besides that I also make pickup covers from wood, cavity covers from wood with magnets, and wooden knobs so that the bass will look unique and beautiful
-
A: In my opinion, it is, the selection of wood types that have a dryness level that is sufficient to build a bass, the selection of electronics, the placement of the pickups, and the making of a perfect neck (thickness, shape, and radius of the fingerboard.
-
When the bass is finished, I will personally check the bass again and test the bass for 2 weeks continuing to do neck adjustments and electronic checks until i am satisfied it is stable.
-
A: . I have made templates for the body, headstock, pickups cover, and others, to speed up the process of making the bass, but modern technology can be faster to build 1 bass, but I enjoy the process of making the bass with my own hand skills because after the bass is finished and the results are good, there is a satisfaction for me
-
A: We take pride when customers say that the instrument they ordered from us is exactly what the imagined and more!
